After the Decca takeover, Kevin and Harley had immediate discussions, wondering what they could do next. They decided to launch a kind of ‘Argo, Mk.2’. or at least that’s how it seemed in the beginning. They were joined by classical record man Jack Boyce, and in 1981 launched a new record label: ASV (Academy Sound and Vision).
